Taste of Terrior with La Motte

Tonight was all about the beauty of Sauvignon Blanc. I was fortunate enough to be invited as a plus one to an event at La Motte wine farm in Franschhoek. I was very excited as this is where I had my first date with my boyfriend.

We started out tasting Sauvignon Blanc
from France, New Zealand and South Africa, followed by a cellar tour to taste some more Sauvignon Blanc varieties from all over the Cape. 

Soon after the tasting we made our way down to the Pierneef restaurant. It was just as amazing as I remembered it to be from 3 years ago. The food and wine was paired beautifully. The service was outstanding and the ambiance was what every restaurant should strive for.

La Motte wine farm has got it all!

Make a day of it and spoil your loved one… The farm has a hiking trail, the Pierneef museum, a tasting room, a restaurant, and a shop for you to buy your own souvinirs.

Beautiful Bohemian garden party!

One of my best friends sister celebrated her birthday last night and I was so grateful to be apart of her special day. The fabulous Nici celebrated in pure style. Her family gave her a night no one will forget. With all their hard work and effort, they managed to successfully take us into a enchanted forest with a bohemian edge for one night only. This friendly, summery theme got everybody wearing summer dresses, floral head pieces and ofcourse barefoot all the way. My best friend, Amanda, surprized us all with her delicious cooking skills. She wow’ed us with her tasty liver pate and got us all begging for more of her moist chocolate cake. Not to mention the very functional ‘Drinkery’ where there was a variety of beautiful wines and a friendly barman at our service. This evening was perfect in my eyes and I’m convinced all the guests that was so fortunate to join, would agree! Well done Tuckniss family- you outdone yourselves!

My Pitbull Pup ♡

We adopted Zara at the end of Feb from the Uitsig Animal Rescue http://uitsig.org.za and it has been the best time having this bundle of joy apart of our family. There is a HUGE misconseption around this breed. They are not aggressive dogs by nature, it’s the way their owners raise them! We have have been showering Zara with nothing but love and it clearly shows. In the picture below she takes advantage of some early morning cuddles with her daddy… ♡♡♡

Paul Mitchell Pamper Day

The NEW Paul Mitchell Teatree range is unbelievable. It’s a unisex range that has a variety of shampoos and conditioners for different types of hair and needs. Today I was fotunate enough to get the full monty at a Paul Mitchell Pamper Day for media partners. Shampoo, conditioner and the fabulous treatment made my sculp feel like it was taking off to another plant- unbelievable! The blowdry was just an added bonus to make me look the way I feel! Well done Paul Mitchell! I am very impressed!

LOréal Luxe Product Launch JHB

Wow wow wow!
I was blown away by the amazing LOréal Luxe launch! They went all out! From the luxury hotel room to the exciting presentations to the fun carnival themed activities and ofcourse the cocktails.
